Meringandan State School is implementing the Australian Curriculum in English, Mathematics, Science, History and Social Sciences, Technologies, Health and Physical Education, The Arts and Languages (Years 5 and 6). Children in Year 4 are also taught Languages, but are not assessed.
Within all subject areas there is a focus on developing seven general capabilities of students. The seven General Capabilities are
