At Meringandan State School we run a music program that consists of:
*Choir
*Recorder Band
*Instrumental Music
Our Instrumental Music Program is aligned to the Queensland Instrumental Music Curriculum, and at our school students have the opportunity to learn Woodwind, Brass or Percussion. Students are assessed upon entry to the program to choose an instrument that is most suitable for them (instruments are not allocated purely based on 'interest').
Our school runs a Student Resource Scheme for Instrumental Music.
